The J.W. Parmley Historical Home Society received a $1000 grant from the Ipswich Area Foundation to restore the gardens in the Edmunds County Memorial Park.

This summer the Tiger Post children will help plant the gardens, water the plants, and weed the gardens. On May 18, the round gardens in the Park were planted with annual plants for this summer. The Tiger Post children will plant the large garden on June 11 with perennial plants native to South Dakota.

The young gardeners were being supervised by Haylee Kilber and are (from left to right): Adelyn Pollock, Alec Holien, Caysen Knust, Raymond Fitz-Patrick, Natalie Pollock, Nash Hogie and Jaxson Horst.
