U.S. House candidate to visit Edmunds County

Tim Bjorkman

United States House of Representatives candidate Tim Bjorkman will be in Edmunds County this weekend. He will be in Roscoe on Friday and in Ipswich on Saturday.

Bjorkman will be in Roscoe at Ricky's Restaurant & Lounge on Friday from noon to 1 p.m. He looks forward to talking with people and learning of their concerns and hearing their ideas. All are invited to attend.

Bjorkman is making a stop on the campaign trail in Ipswich for Trail Days. He will be in the Trail Days Parade Saturday and will be in town to speak with people as well. He looks forward to enjoying the celebration, learning of residents' concerns and hearing their ideas.

Bjorkman, a former circuit court judge and fifth-generation South Dakotan, is running a reform campaign and refusing to accept money from special interest groups or political action committees. "We need to send people from outside the political culture to Washington who will work across the aisles to help solve some of our biggest problems and serve all South Dakotans," Bjorkman said.

"There has been a lot of political talk and finger-pointing, much division, and little action on issues of monumental importance to us all

like healthcare, addiction, crime, and immigration," he said.

The general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 6. For more on Tim, go to timbjorkman.com .
