"Come One, Come All" to 4-H Achievement Days

 


“Come One, Come All, Step Right Up to 4-H” is the slogan for the 2018 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days on August 1-3.

Mark your calendars and plan on stopping by to see the accomplishment of our youth. Activities take place at the 4-H Grounds in Ipswich.

Wednesday morning starts off the three days with the dog show starting at 8 a.m. In the afternoon will be the Horse Fun Day at the Trail Days Complex.

Thursday kicks off with the poultry show at 8:30 a.m. followed by the judging of static projects. The afternoon will include more livestock events which include the cat show, rabbit show, heifer futurity contest, and parade of animals to the nursing home. The day will conclude with the evening program which includes the crowning of the 2018 royalty, pre 4-H Pet Show, and Project Runway.

The Livestock Show is the main event for Friday. This will begin at 8:30 a.m. There will be a Junior Leader’s activity in the afternoon. The three days will finish up with the Chicken BBQ starting at 5:30 p.m. and Livestock Premium Sale.


Concessions will be available all three days. Stop in and support the Edmunds County 4-H Program.
