Alfred (Al) Francis Kolb, St. Joseph, Mo. and formerly of Ipswich, died on June 21, 2018 at his winter home in Donna, Tex.

  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Garden Mausoleum, Aberdeen, with Pastor Marcia Sylvester leading the service.

Al was born on November 17, 1941 in Leola to Helen Kolb. He was raised in Aberdeen by his mother and step-father, Anton Kvasnicka. He graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1960. Al married Gwenda Ertz on June 20, 1960 in Ipswich where they made their home. To this union, six children were born.
