The varsity football team got off on the right foot with a win last Friday and hopefully our area netters and cross country runners will do likewise later this week. As well as the football team in its Friday evening Lake Region Conference appearance at Northwestern!

Edmunds Central is actually hosting this year's Yellowstone Trail Conference volleyball tourney on Saturday.

And as you read this, school will be in session for the 2018-19 school year, interrupted just a little by the big upcoming Labor Day weekend. We will have an early deadline for that Wednesday, September 5 edition, and the deadline will be on Friday, Aug. 31 at 4 p..m. instead of Monday the 3rd. So if you're planning ahead, keep that in mind!

Fall is actually approaching quite rapidly and the last few nights have been rather chilly for this time of the year. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if we would happen to get at least one more above-average temperature spell or two.
