Once again it's homecoming week and this time at Edmunds Central. Congrats to the homecoming King and Queen — Elliot and Kendra and also to your royal court. And enjoy all the homecoming events, because your high school years fly by quickly. (We're always looking at a program or a list with somebody shown as a senior and going that can't be right, but it is!)

Hopefully the weather will cooperate — now that some people got as much rain recently as they had all during the growing season. Especially during the outdoor events like the lunch, parade and football game. And we'll also hope for good weather during the Gypsy Day parade as well on Saturday in Aberdeen. After all it is now officially autumn and just think what it would've been like if that recent rain was snow. Ouch!
