The funeral service for Bernice Deibert, 85, of Ipswich was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Richland Church, rural Mina. Pastor Ron Wickard led the service. Interment will be at a later date.

Bernice was born Sept. 2, 1933 in Campbell County to Fred and Lydia (Singer) Beck. She grew up on the family farm and in her young adult years worked as a nurse's aide.

In March of 1956, she married Wilmer Deibert. They moved to Ipswich in 1970. Bernice enjoyed being a homemaker and mother.

Bernice went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 23, 2018.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilmer Deibert of Ipswich; son, Myron Deibert of Ipswich; daughter, Kerry (Lynn) Hanish of Badger, Iowa; grandchildren, Sam (Jenny) Hanish of Hawaii, Abbey (Sky) Paxton of Colorado, Bekah (Victor) Stuber of California, Max Hanish of Fort Dodge, Ia. and Sophie Hanish of Badger, Ia.; and, one great-granddaughter, Romy Stuber of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and their wives, Art and Ione Beck and Edwin and Alvera Beck.
