Forty-one Ipswich Middle School students participated in the ninth annual Northwestern Middle School Music Festival on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, held at Northwestern High School.
The Festival included a concert band of 70 middle school musicians and a 180 member mixed chorus. The band and choir members represented 13 area schools.
The festival choir rehearsed and performed under the direction of Eric Martens, Great Plains Lutheran School Choir Director. The band was led by Dr. Rolf Olson, NSU Director of Bands. The day-long rehearsal concluded with an evening performance of each group...
