Wrestlers compete in Plankinton

Ipswich/Leola/Bowdle (ILB) competed in a Plankinton wrestling invite on Saturday, Dec. 15.
The Tigers faced some difficult opposition to say the least. The Tigers were able to get a six-place placement from Tanner Frickson, who scored nine of the team's 12 team points, at 120. Zach Geditz, competing at 170 was able to obtain ILB's remaining three team points.
The tourney was won by Burke/Gregory with 201 points, edging Redfield Area's 185. Altogether there were 17 teams in the event, with the Tigers finishing in 17th.
The team will now be idle until a January 5 trip to Miller.
