Queen Hannah Sumption and Jr. Queen April Simon, along with the South Dakota Snow Queen Festival, invite you to join them for the 73rd South Dakota Snow Queen Festival, to be held January 4-12, 2019.

Representatives from local communities will be featured at the Jr. Snow Queen Coronation and Talent Contest held the evening of January 5, 2019 at the Aberdeen Civic Theatre. The program will begin at 7 p.m.

Jr. Miss Ipswich Emily DeRaad and Jr. Miss Edmunds Central Emma Beyers will compete in the Jr. Snow Queen Coronation.

Miss Ipswich Aleah Steger and Miss Edmunds Central Kendra Hinz will participate in the Snow Queen festivities.

Friday evening, January 11, 2019, the Snow Queen Candidates, Visiting Dignitaries, and Snow Queen sponsors will be featured at the Queen's and Sponsors Banquet and Ball.

The Festival activities will conclude with the crowning of the 2019 South Dakota Snow Queen. The coronation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Aberdeen Civic Theater.
