Records are made to be broken and the Ipswich School school record for single-game treys was shattered by Halle Heinz during a 67-48 Lake Region Conference girls' high school basketball win over Northwestern here last Tuesday.
Altogether Halle netted five of those treys in the opening quarter, helping create a 17-12 Lady Tigers' first-quarter edge. She added another five throughout the game, capped by her tenth at 1:52 of the final quarter for a 65-42 IHS lead at that juncture of the game. (Ipswich had led 35-23 at intermission and 50-34 with a quarter to play.)
