Ipswich Commercial Club hosted a reception for South Dakota Snow Queen Aleah Steger and Jr. Miss Ipswich Emily DeRaad on Jan. 31 in the school lobby.
Aleah had boards with photos and memorabilia from her reign so far. The previous week she attended the St. Paul Winter Carnival.
She said the last Ipswich S.D. Snow Queen Tory Makela sent her a care package after she won the crown.
