Local residents enjoyed the Heartland of America Band Offutt Brass concert in the Ipswich School Theatre on Monday evening, March 25.

The group highlighted American music in their program, "An American Musical Journey".

The brass quintet with percussion added is on a tour of area towns including Aberdeen, Mobridge and Redfield. They are based in Offutt Air Force Base, near Omaha, Neb. They said a third of their base in underwater now with the flooding in Nebraska.
