Memorial service for Mark James Baer, 56, of Aberdeen was at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory, Aberdeen. Rev. Raymond Pomplun officiated.

Inurnment will be in Morningside Cemetery at Roscoe.

Mark died March 17, 2019 at his home.

Mark James Baer was born to James and Carolyn (Lammle) Baer on November 24, 1962 at Hoven. He attended Roscoe (Edmunds Central) High School, graduating with the class of 1981. He then attended Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, graduating from the electronics program. Mark returned home and worked on the family farm and ranch. In 2014, he moved to Cheney, Wash. where he was a truck driver. He then moved to Aberdeen in 2018.

Mark was a very friendly person who enjoyed visiting with others. When he was younger, he loved to fish.

Grateful for having shared Mark's life are his parents, James (Pamela) of Onaka and Carolyn of Washington; brother, Timothy Baer of Onaka; and step-sisters, Lori (Roger) Gutenkauf of Onaka and Angela Rausch of Hoven.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacob and Hulda Baer and Milbert and Betty Lammle.
