IHS students preparing for the play "Pop Goes the Weasel."
Ipswich High School presents "Pop Goes the Weasel" by Craig Sodaro, produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., on April 12 at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Ipswich School Theater.
"Pop Goes the Weasel" is an intriguing World War II period mystery. The play takes place at Winnie Wynn's New England home, where she has taken in her grandchildren and two other children whose parents are overseas during the war.
What looks to be a peaceful summer for the blended family takes a dark turn when a body is discovered behind Winnie's house. Mistrust abounds when the sheriff makes it...
