The United Church of Christ will host the annual Community Good Friday Worship Service on April 19, 2019. The service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Other services celebrating the Easter season include:

First Baptist Church

The childrens’ “SonRise” program and breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. The Easter worship service will begin at 10 a.m.

Holy Cross Catholic Church

Holy Thursday service will begin at 7 p.m. in Holy Cross Church in Ipswich. The Good Friday service will be held at St. Thomas Church in Roscoe at noon, 3 p.m. in Ipswich and at 6 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetural Help in Leola. On Saturday, April 20 the Easter Vigil Mass will be held at 8:30 p.m. in Roscoe. The Resurrection of the Lord will be celebrated on Easter Sunday at 9 a.m. in Ipswich and in Leola at 11 a.m.

Richland Wesleyan Church

The Maundy Thursday Communion Service will begin at 7 p.m. on April 18. The Easter Sunday morning worship, a celebration of hope, will begin at 10:45 a.m.

United Church of Christ

The Maundy Thursday service will begin at 7 p.m. on April 18. The Easter celebration will begin with a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served by the youth group afterwards. The Easter and confirmation service will begin at 10 a.m. A Confirmation reception will follow.

Zion Lutheran

The Maundy Thursday worship service will begin at 7 p.m. on April 18. The Easter Sunday service will begin at 9 a.m.
