Tiger Post directors and building committee members joined Louis and Helen Thares for the groundbreaking for the Louis & Helen Thares Youth Center in Ipswich on Sunday. The center will be the new host for the Tiger Post afterschool program.
Fundraising has been a success and they hope the center will be ready in the fall. Of course, funds are still needed, so contact any of the committee members to donate.
Mike Hammrich spoke and said the Thares were always willing to help with youth projects while they in Ipswich. They live in Aberdeen now.
