Memorial Day will be celebrated on Monday, May 27, 2019.

Local celebrations planned are:

IPSWICH

Ipswich will have a new Memorial Day celebration this year. There will be no program or noon potluck. A ceremony is planned on Monday at 5 p.m. at the Ipswich Cemetery. The Ipswich American Legion Post will be “Remembering Fallen Veterans.”

The public is invited to attend.

HOSMER

The Hosmer Memorial Day program will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Hosmer Civic Center.

The guest speaker will be Allan Ochsner. The Prairie Harmony Singers will provide musical entertainment.

Dinner will be served at the Civic Center after the program at the Veterans Memorial Park.

ROSCOE

The Roscoe American Legion will have a Memorial Day program at 7 p.m. in the Legion Post in Roscoe.

Royce Loesch of Pierre will be the speaker.

A potluck luncheon will be served after the program. Sandwiches will be provided.
