Achievement Days begins next week, dog show first

The 2019 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days will kick off on Wednesday, July 31 with the Dog Show. The show will start at 8 a.m. at the 4-H Building in Ipswich.

Dogs and their owners have been practicing since May and will show their skills in obedience, showmanship, agility, and rally.

Members are coached by Debi Munger and Hannah Toennies. Participation in this show qualifies them to attend the State Dog Show in Huron on August 24.

The Cat Show will follow in the front of the 4-H Building. The members will have their cats judged and also be able to enter the showmanship contest.

The public is welcome to attend both shows while enjoying a treat from the concession stand.
