CAR LICENSES ARRIVE

The new 1928 automobile license plates have arrived for Edmunds County.

County Treasurer Nehl has 2000 of them stacked up in his office waiting distribution.

Gilbert Jones was the first person in Edmunds County to resister his car, therefore he received number 23-1000. Thirty-five licenses have been sold to date.

The plates are the same size and shape as those of 1927 with white lettering on a red background.

All motor vehicles licensed for the year 1927 may operate with the 1927 plates until January 31, 1928. After that...
