Cross Country runners at Miller

Ipswich attended a high school cross country invite in Miller on Monday with some positive results in the Class A/B meet. Let IHS Coach Todd Thorson explain them: "Tessa (Kilber) sure ran good today. She beat last year's State B champ and finished second overall," Thorson said. "Max (Geditz) wasn’t feeling well, but still wanted to run. But I thought that the boys packed it up and ran good. Sommer (DeRaad) really had a good race for the JV, finishing in first and Kaylin (Onken) got third.”

Among the 41 girls' varsity runners who finished, Kilber was indeed second only to Heidi Olson...
