In keeping with the proclamations of the President of the United States and of the Governor of the State appointing Friday August 10th as a day of mourning and prayer for our beloved late President Warren G. Harding, in order that the citizens of this City and surrounding communities may show its deep appreciation of and respect for the honored dead.
