Fiddlin' Around

November 27, 2019

Apparently more and more people are deciding to stay at home during the Thanksgiving week and give their kitchen utensils a much needed workout. Just be careful though. And traveling might be more of an issue this year anyway because of winter weather forecasts in our area.

The southern part of the state was expecting to get most if not all of the first round of snow (not us?) and then the second bunch, more widespread might possibly begin later on Thanksgiving Day into the weekend. So keep those snow shovels and/or blowers handy just in case.

And if you are sitting around on Thanksgiving too stuffed to move, you and your guests could be recalling some well known and famous tongue twisters and see who gets stumped. There's even a brand new one written in 2013 developed by MIT researchers that simply (or not so simply) goes like this: "Pad kid poured curd pulled cod." That's not so bad is it?

Happy Thanksgiving!
