Local churches will celebrate the Christmas season next week. Schedules for local churches include:

Holy Cross and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Churches: St. Thomas the Apostle in Roscoe will have a Christmas Eve Mass at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24. Refreshments and Christmas Carols will follow. The Holy Cross Church in Ipswich will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Midnight Mass. The choir will begin singing at 11:30 p.m. There will be a Christmas Day Mass at 9 a.m. at Holy Cross Church.

First Baptist Church will celebrate Christmas during the Dec. 22 service at 10 a.m. There will be no Dec. 24 service.

Richland Wesleyan invites you to worship with them on Christmas Eve. The service of carols, candles and special Christmas music will begin at 6 p.m.

United Church of Christ will have a Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m.
