Fiddlin' Around

December 18, 2019

It is indeed that time of the year and our deadlines to submit articles and/or ads for the Dec. 25 and January 1 editions of our newspapers have been moved up accordingly. So the deadline for materials for next week's publications will now be this Thursday at 5 p.m. for next week's Ipswich Tribune and Roscoe-Hosmer editions and then again next Thursday, December 26 at 5 p.m. for the following January 1 dated editions.

Hopefully the papers will all have been delivered to the post office, so our in-county subscribers will be receiving them on Tuesday instead of the usual Wednesday and this day-earlier mailing will also be in effect for the following week's papers, hopefully arriving in your New Year's Eve day's mail for our local subscribers. (Our printers in Ortonville will be printing early Monday instead of the usual late afternoon on Tuesday for next week's editions and then again the following Monday for the New Years edition.)

This all sounds confusing and it probably is! And it indeed makes working all weekend both this week and next week a distinct possibility. No wonder that they say holidays are stressful. Yes, they indeed can be, but we'll still wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
