FIND SKULL OF BIG BEAST OF SCENIC

Scenic — Among recent finds from the Badlands region is the skull and the jaws of a titanotherium, prehistoric monster. The fossil was uncovered by J.G. Bump, merchant of Scenic, it is now on display at the store and has attracted considerable interest. It is very well preserved

The titanotherium was a large animal, slightly smaller than an elephant, that inhabited this section more than three million years ago. In many ways he resembled a rhinoceros. Instead of having but one horn on his nose like the rhinoceros, however, the titanotherium had two horns
