The Ipswich Area (Ipswich/Leola/Bowdle) high-school wrestling cooperative will compete in the Region 1B meet on Saturday, Feb. 22 in Sisseton, beginning at 9 a.m.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class there will earn trips to the State B scheduled for Feb. 27-29 in Sioux Falls. Carter Heinz, a senior, was able to do exactly that, in last year's State B, where he was even able to earn a placement. And the entire team has shown some gradual improvement this year compared to last season. So Heinz would no doubt like to have some company in this year's B, if he indeed qualifies again.
