Fiddlin' Around

Playing Second Fiddle by TMG

Many years ago DEG would include family tidbits in “Fiddlin’ Around.” Stories about his nephews and niece.

It is hard to believe, but these youngsters have grown up to become adults. The oldest, Zach graduated from SDSU and now works in the construction business. He and his fiancè Tristan, a recent nursing graduate, have been planning their wedding for more than a year. And as Paul Harvey would say - you know the rest of the story. No wedding celebrations allowed — no fancy dresses, big cakes or wedding parties.

The couple does plan to be married on April 18, their original date. With only parents in attendance. They are hoping to have a big party in the fall, so we can all wear the pretty spring dresses we bought earlier in anticipation of the event.

Then they will move to Rapid City, where they will be living and working. Best wishes Zach and Tristan in your new life.

Maybe this wedding setback will teach you important lessons for your years of wedded bliss. The challenges that lie ahead for you will give you stength.
