Tessa Kilber was a winner of the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship, as well as the local Chapter BB P.E.O. Scholarship.

The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 by the International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Through April 30, 2020, scholarships totaling $12.8 million have been awarded to 5,142 young women.

The STAR Scholarship is a non-renewable $2,500 scholarship for graduating high school senior women which must be used in the academic year following graduation.
