Sanford Health Ipswich Care: safe to seek care

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Sanford Health Ipswich Clinic is urging patients to continue seeking medical care, both for urgent needs and managing ongoing health concerns.

“Please don’t ignore or put off your health care because of COVID-19,” said June Torrence-Heinz, PA-C, a family medicine provider at Sanford Health Ipswich Clinic. “Maintaining appointments is especially important for patients with ongoing medical issues, like diabetes or high blood pressure. Delaying treatment puts your long-term health at risk.”

Sanford Health Ipswich Clinic has taken a number of steps to ensure safety in the clinic, including employee temperature checks, screening all patients who enter for COVID-19 symptoms, increased cleaning and disinfecting, social distancing in waiting areas, masking for all staff, patients, and visitors, and online check-in for appointments through My Sanford Chart.

“It is very important for people to understand that our clinic is a safe place,” said Torrence-Heinz. “Our patients’ health care needs continue, whether that’s an annual exam, sports physical, or child immunization. We have policies in place to keep you safe, and we are here and ready to take care of you.”

To schedule an appointment at Sanford Health Ipswich Clinic, call (605) 426-6040.
