Fiddlin' Around

People are starting to be out and about much more so than earlier this spring. And that's a good sign. But it still doesn't hurt to wear a mask and/or position yourself at least six feet from any people in lines.

Believe it or not, the longest day of the year is right around the corner and from then on our daylight hours will gradually grow shorter, as we head towards fall. It will not be all that noticeable at first. So enjoy the outdoors while you can.

There are plenty of outdoor projects that you may have been postponing, including possibly planning a rummage sale. The Ipswich City-Wide Rummage Sale, sponsored annually by the Ipswich Commercial Club is indeed on tap for August 1, as I understand.

In our neighborhood we could try some “winter” activities. Throwing cotton balls instead of snow balls. This seems to be a good year for the cottonwood tree fluff to fly.
