We had a preview of autumn overnight Sunday night, Monday and even into Tuesday a.m. Now if it could just stay that way.

But it probably won’t! The forecasters are indeed predicting a return to summertime heat by this weekend.

Anyway this is our first August edition during “Back to School” month. And some of the election races might be heating up, as well as the thermometer, as we inch closer to the November elections.
