Fiddlin' Around

August 19, 2020

Hopefully our area high school fall sports teams have all been experiencing some productive pre-season practice sessions and good luck during your respective seasons.

That should all be quite interesting with schools (including their sports teams) attempting to resume their normal routines as much as possible with the coronavirus still around for now at least.

The first actual varsity competition would appear to be a football game with the Ipswich/Edmunds Central team hosting Potter County in Ipswich on Friday. The Tigers had handled Potter County quite convincingly last year in Gettysburg, so are hoping to successfully launch their 2020 schedule with another victory over the Battlers.

Tailgate parties are part of football so be sure to check out the Ipswich Post Prom fundraiser in the Kadlec backyard just southwest of the football field.
