Ipswich then traveled to Waubay last Thursday to play Waubay/Summit and came away with a straight-sets volleyball victory to improve its record to 4-0.
The Tiger girls indeed dropped W/S 25-12, 25-15, and 25-14.
Paige Mehlberg led an all-around balanced team effort at the net with 16 hits that featured 10 kills.
Altogether Ipswich went 72-80 at the net with 32 kills. Hailey Bierman added a 20-21 night at the net with 8 kills and Lindsey Grabowska was 14-15 there with 5 kills.
