Funeral Service for Paula Kleinsasser, 57, of Mina will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Aberdeen. Facial Covering is required. Rev. Gary Compton will officiate. The service will be live streamed and available at http://www.Carlsenfh.com under Paula's obituary.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Paula died September 11, 2020 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Paula was born August 22, 1963 to Alfred and Pauline (Kleinsasser) Wollman at Springfield Colony, Anola, Manitoba, Canada. This is where she grew up and received her education. On April 20, 1991 she left Springfield Colony.

Paula was united in marriage to John Kleinsasser on August 17, 1991 in First Baptist Church in Ipswich. They made their home in the Mina area. She started cleaning homes with Ann Gauer. Ann and Joe Gauer became her second set of parents. Paula worked with Ann for 27 years.


Paula enjoyed watching Aberdeen Wings hockey and Chicago sports teams, especially hockey and football. She was an avid reader and liked putting puzzles together. She loved her family dearly and took comfort in baking and cooking for them. Paula prayed for others on a daily basis, always thinking of people she could help. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Grateful for having shared Paula's life are her husband, John; daughters, Ashley (Isaac) Hooks of Mankato, Minn. and Megan (Gabe Maring) Kleinsasser of Aberdeen; mother, Pauline Wollman of Springfield Colony; brothers, Mark (Laura) Wollman of Springfield Colony and Robert (Laura) Wollman of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and sisters, Rosemary Wollman of Springfield Colony, Christine (James) Waldner of Rosenort, Canada and Diane (Calvin) Wollman of Richland Colony, Anola, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Alfred Wollman Jr.

Casketbearers will be Isaac Hooks, Gabe Maring, James Waldner, Russell Braun, Ray Larson, and Carson Larson.

Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.
