Yesterday, Tuesday was officially the first day of autumn, but lately it's been feeling more like summer. However, it is already very hard not to notice that the hours of daylight are gradually being shortened with later sunrises and earlier sunsets both becoming very noticeable.

I didn't try to stand a fresh egg upright during an equinox day as you are supposed to be able to do. I think I would have gotten too hungry, just looking at that egg. But no big deal if it falls into pieces with a big cracking noise if your experiment does in fact not quite work. Maybe it's a mere urban myth about...
