IHS Marching Band in the Homecoming parade.
The second annual Roncalli Marching Band Festival was held in Aberdeen on September 30 and featured eleven marching bands.
The Ipswich High School Marching Band tied with Aberdeen Roncalli Marching Cavaliers for first place. Ipswich was honored as the Outstanding Flag Corps.
Other results for the events are: second place Gregory Marching Gorillas, third place Warner High School Band and fourth place Northwestern Area Marching Wildcats,
Outstanding Winds Section: Aberdeen Roncalli Marching Cavaliers
Outstanding Percussion Section: Aberdeen Roncalli Marching Cavaliers
The Northern State University marching band also performed.
Ipswich will also perform in the Groton Lake Region Marching Festival on Friday, Oct. 9.
