Christmas at the Courthouse

November 25, 2020

The 2019 Courthouse Christmas display included these trees.

Bringing some cheer to the 2020 Holiday Season the Wily Wizards 4-H Club is again sponsoring the tree decorating event at the Edmunds County Courthouse.

To keep everyone safe, there will not be a lighting ceremony. There will be time to view the trees on Friday, December 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. Trees will be on display for you to enjoy at your leisure from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. They will also host special viewing hours on Saturday, December 12 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Although down slightly from previous years, there will be 47 trees lining the hallways and in the community room.

Again this year, you can vote for your favorite tree by placing a quarter in the jar next to the tree. Proceeds will be used to deflect the cost of hosting the event.

The trees will remain on display through December 31.

Remember - the County Commission adopted a policy that patrons and employees must wear face masks in the courthouse.
