Christmas at the Courthouse

December 2, 2020

Local individuals, club members and business employees are decorating Christmas trees for the annual Wily Wizards 4-H Club Holiday display at the Edmunds County Courthouse.

To keep everyone safe, there will not be a lighting ceremony. There will be time to view the trees on Friday, December 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. Trees will be on display for you to enjoy at your leisure from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. They will also host special viewing hours on Saturday, December 12 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

There will be 47 trees lining the hallways and in the community room at the Courthouse. Again this year, you can vote for your favorite tree by placing a quarter in the jar next to the tree. Proceeds will be used to deflect the cost of hosting the event.

The trees will remain on display through December 31.

The Edmunds County Commission has adopted a policy that patrons and employees must wear face masks in the courthouse.
