Ipswich/Bowdle launched its high school wrestling cooperative schedule with a trip to Ft. Pierre hosted by Stanley County School last Saturday.

The Tigers placed eighth among 10 teams with 31 team points. Burke/Gregory won that event with 178.5 points, followed by Lyman with 142.5.

The Tigers' top scorer proved to be Brady Unser at 113 with a second-place finish worth 12 team points. The next highest point getter that day was Tanner Frickson at 132, placing third for seven team points.

The Tigers will travel to Faulkton this Saturday.

Ipswich/Bowdle's individual results were:

• 113- Brady Unser won by pin, 1:08; won by pin, 1:06; lost by major decision, 14-5; won by pin, 2:47 for second place.

• 132- Tanner Frickson won by forfeit; lost 2-0; lost 1-0; won by pin, 1:12 for third place.

• 170- Grant Weisser won 18-17; was pinned, 5:01; won by tech fall (15-0); lost 4-2 for fourth place.

• 170- Darrel Yost was pinned, :53; was pinned, 2:26.

• 182- Tyler Tran was pinned, :23; won by pin, 2:34; was pinned, 1:54; was pinned, :36 for sixth place.

• 182- Kadyn Weisser lost by technical fall (15-0); was pinned, 2:34.

• 195- Justin Rohrbach was pinned, :21; was pinned, :31.
