The Tigers split hoops trip to James Valley Christian in Huron.

Ipswich went 1-1 in a girls/boys basketball doubleheader versus JVC last Saturday.

Boys first in this case because the Tigers boys indeed come away with a 48-34 win! But the Lady Tigers were edged by a single point, 43-42. And their two losses at this point in time were by a combined total of three points.

Meanwhile the boys were able to jump out to a 14-9 first quarter edge and ended the half with a 22-17 edge. The third quarter then belonged to Ipswich 16-13, followed by a decisive Tiger edge, 10-4, in the final stanza.
