Ipswich featured a balanced scoring attack to knock off Northwestern's girls' high school basketball team 45-31 in a LRC showdown in Ipswich on Monday.

Ipswich narrowly led 13-12 after a quarter and gradually lengthened its advantage, leading 24-19 thanks to a Katie Bierman buzzer-beater at intermission. Ipswich then narrowly won the third-quarter 9-8 and also enjoyed a 12-5 scoring edge in the final quarter with the Tigers leading 45-29 late in the game after a Hailey Bierman basket. So as you can see the Tigers indeed won each individual quarter!
