IHS athletes busy at indoor meet at NSU

 


Ipswich again had a busy day at an indoor track and field meet sponsored by NSU at the Barnett Center last Thursday. But there again no team points were kept.

There were some IHS firsts, but even more seconds. Gracie Lange indeed won the high jump measured at 4-11.5, followed closely by Paige Mehlberg in second at 4-9.75. Ashlyn Weig placed second in the 55-meter hurdles at 10.66, while Ashley Ptacek also grabbed  a second in the 400-meter dash at 1:08.34. So did Emily DeRaad in the 800-meter run clocked at 2:40.07. And Ashlinn Hartwell contributed a second-place finish in the 1600-meter...
