IHS Seniors graduate Saturday, May 15

 


The Ipswich Class of 2021 will have their commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 15 at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

Matthew Hettich is the 2021 Valedictorian. There are co-Salutatorians — Lindsey Grabowska and Kaitlyn Preszler. They will each speak during commencement.

Seniors will be presenting a slide show and they will also do the annual flower handout in the gym.

Class President Chesney Olivier and Senior Class Vice-President Paige Mehlberg will do the welcome and invocation. And there will be a musical selection by the High School Choir and band music for the processional and recessional.

Principal Dan Knust will present the Class of 2021 for graduation and the diplomas will be handed out by Superintendent Trent Osborne and Todd Hettich who will represent the Board of Education. Hettich is also a parent of one of the seniors.

The event will be live-streamed! A link for it can be found on the school website or Facebook page. (They will add the link the day before the ceremony.)

Seniors wearing the gold cords are graduating with the highest honors and the high honor seniors will wear white cords. Those with gray cords are graduating with honor. Seniors wearing blue and gold cords are National Honor Society members.

The 2021 Seniors, alphabetically are: Hailey Bierman– Regent Scholar, Halie Feldman, Bridget Fuhrmann-Regent Scholar, Katelyn Geditz - Regent Scholar, Lindsey Grabowska - Regent Scholar, Alia Hales, Halle Heinz - Regent Scholar, Matthew Hettich - Regent Scholar, Johnathan Kamps, Tarynn Kleffman - Regent Scholar, Ashton Loken - Regent Scholar, Paige Maher, Joshua McQuarie, Paige Mehlberg, Chesney Olivier, Dylan Owens, Bailey Pitz, Kaitlyn Preszler - Regent Scholar, Cameron Richardt, Austin Russell - Regent Scholar; Angeline Rye, Eric Severson, Tyler Tran - Regent Scholar, Logan Weig, Orchid Wilcox - Regent Scholar.
