Ipswich's high school golfers attended a pre-region warm-up meet last Monday in Huron.

There were no medals handed out at this meet, but Luke Peterson placed second only to Faulkton's Bennett Cassens, with both golfers actually carding a 78.

Ipswich also had success from Matthew Jaenisch in sixth place at 85 and Jace Konsor, 31st at 104 and Tucker Kadlec 37th at 116.

The IHS girls were paced by Halie Feldman in 12th at 110. Ashton Loken carded a 116 for 17th and Tarynn Kleffman placed 18th at 117. (Jayce Pugh of Miller won that event with her 90.
