Through the Decades with 4-H begins August 4

 


Vintage Fashion Show

Ten decades of fashions—what do you remember? How have fashions changed over the years. Come relive the past at the Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days style show and evening program during the Thursday, August 5 program starting at 7 p.m.

They’ve been searching their closets to give you this great show.

Wednesday activities:

Dog and Cat Shows

The 2021 Edmunds County 4-H Achievement Days will kick off on Wednesday, August 4 with the Dog Show. The show will start at 8 a.m. at the 4-H Building in Ipswich.

Dogs and their owners have been practicing since May and will show their skills in obedience, showmanship, agility, and rally. Members are coached by Hannah Holsing. Participation in this show qualifies them to attend the State Dog Show in Huron on August 28.

The Cat Show will follow in the front of the 4-H Building. The members will have their cats judged and also be able to enter the showmanship contest.


The public is welcome to attend both shows while enjoying a treat from the concession stand.

Open Horse Show

and Fun Day

The Open Horse Show and Fun Day is part of the 2021 Edmunds County Achievement Days. The activities will begin with registration starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Trail Days Arena on Wednesday, August 4. Events will start at 4 p.m.

Riders of all ages are encouraged to come and participate in the numerous fun events planned. Riders under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the arena.

Concessions will be available at the arena.
