Ribbons earned by county's 4-Hers

Ava Davis is interviewed by emcee Jailey Hutson during the Project Runway portion of the 4-H Achievement Days program on Aug. 5. Baylee Kulesa was also an emcee.

Edmunds County 4-H members displayed their 2021 projects and animals at the 4-H Achievement Days held August 4-6 in Ipswich.

Crowned 4-H Royalty were Queen Bridget Fuhrmann, daughter of Bruce and Janet Fuhrmann, Cloverbud Princess Addison Galbraith, daughter of Joe and Lacey Galbraith, and Cloverbud Prince Treyton Hutson, son of Tracy and Jean Hutson.

The Secret Alumni was revealed on Friday evening as Hannah Holsing. The first correct guess came from Deanne Hoyle.

dog show

The Dog Show was held on Wednesday morning at the 4-H Building in Ipswich.

The Horse Show and Play Day was held on Wednesday evening at the Trail Days Arena. They had three different age divisions. Cloverbud and Beginners, Juniors and Senior, and Adults.

Thursday started off with the poultry show followed by the rabbit show. The entering and judging static exhibits started at noon. In the afternoon was the Nursing Home Parade of Animals.
