Tiger gridders stop Dupree in two quarters

Ipswich improved to 2-0 in high school varsity  football action thus far in its 2021 schedule. This was thanks to a 54-0 shutout of visiting Dupree in a non- conference battle of the Tigers last Friday in Ipswich. (This game was shortened due to the mercy rule.)

Ipswich scored 38 first-quarter points and tacked on 16 more points in the second quarter.  The IHS Tigers would have only needed their first score. That's how Ipswich again dominated the line of scrimmage from start to finish, forcing an early Dupree punt. Ipswich took possession of the football at its own 45 and needed just two...
