Veterans’ Day is Thursday, Nov. 11. Local schools will have programs to celebrate the holiday.

The Edmunds Central School in Roscoe will host a program at 1 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the EC Fine Arts Gymnasium. All local veterans from Hosmer and Roscoe are invited to be guests of honor for the program. EC students are all working on different contributions to the Veterans’ Day program.

The Ipswich School is planning a Veterans’ Day presentation at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the School Theatre. There will be a short ceremony at the Ipswich cemetery following the program.

The public is welcome to attend.
