Fiddlin' Around

April 20, 2022

It’s that time of the year — time for outdoor sports events and two of them are planned for Saturday in Ipswich.

That’s right, both high school golf at Split Rock and track and field events on the new track surface.

It’s a fast track, so I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a meet record or two being set on Saturday. Maybe our unending wind may help in some cases.

Even the jumping event runways are excellent, so if you are a track and field fan, come out and see for yourself.

We could probably mention the same regarding the golf course! Unlike some years with water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink as the old saying goes.

But as you all know it’s South Dakota where the weather can and probably will change overnight!

Friday, April 22 is Earth Day. Tena ordered seeds from the “Save Our Monarchs” folks. She has Pollinator Garden Mix packs with wildflowers seeds (annuals and perennials). If you would like a pack stop at the office.
